Dr Leo Scholl was born in Germany and moved to the United States at the age of 13. He graduated with honors from the University of Connecticut (UCONN) with a B.S. in Molecular and Cell Biology and a minor in Chemistry. He went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) in 2012. During his time at VCU he fell in love with Virginia and the Charlottesville area in particular and decided to work and live here after school.
Both at the office and at the clinic, Leo enjoys working closely with the Charlottesville Free Dental Clinic to give smiles back to other community members.
Leo has worked in Palmyra since graduating dental school and currently resides in Earlysville on his friend's cattle farm. When Leo isn't spending time at work pursuing his passion for dentistry and helping his patients, he can most likely be found outside with his rescue pup, Roxy hiking or working on the farm. Don't be surprised to see him holding up traffic on a back road in a tractor or some other piece of farm equipment. Otherwise Leo loves being on Lake Anna or one of the Richmond lakes with his friends on a boat or jet ski or something equally fast. Most recently he has ventured into the world of horseback riding with his girlfriend, Kelsie, an avid rider.
